FAQ

Are the frames good for prescription lenses?

All of our frames are quality optical frames ready to be filled with most prescriptions. You can ask our knowledgeable opticians/optical consultants if your choice of frames can meet your prescription needs. Some prescriptions may not be suitable for progressives and/or high prescriptions.

Can I purchase prescription lenses made with the frames?

Our online shop does not fill eyeglass prescriptions as of this moment. All of our frames are prescription-ready. They are made with optical quality materials and specifications.

Only through our in-person curated optical service can clients purchase prescription lenses with the frames of their choice.

Is shipping free?

Clients are responsible for shipping fees for all orders and returns.

How long does it take to receive the frames?

For frames only purchases, it will take about 5-10 business days. If they are out of stock, depending on the demand, availability and location of the manufacturer, it may take anywhere from 10 business days up to 2 months. (Most of our frames are made in Japan and Europe).

What is your return/refund policy?

Returns must be made within 10 business days from the time clients received the frames by mail. It must be in perfect condition and returned with the original case and cleaning cloths in order to receive full refund on the item(s) purchased. If there are any damages, missing parts or items of the frames and cases returned, clients will be responsible to pay for the whole purchase.

There are no refunds on prescription lenses as they are custom made to your measurements and prescription.

Are there any taxes on frames purchases?

Yes. Frames purchases without prescription lenses are not considered as corrective medical devices, even if prescription lenses are put on them later on. If frames are purchased with prescription lenses, they are exempt from taxes as they are then considered as corrective medical devices. Email us if you have any questions.

Can you put non-prescription sun lenses /blue light/ anti-reflective lenses in the frames?

Yes, we can put non-prescription sun lenses, blue light lenses and/or anti-reflective lenses in the frames for additional fees depending on type of coatings you want. It will take additional days to process the lenses. Email us if you need recommendations or have any questions.

What if a prescription is made wrong?

We check your prescriptions as soon as we get your glasses from our labs and make sure it is made accordingly to match the prescription and measurements you provided. We advise you to make an appointment with us so we can troubleshoot the problem. If necessary, we might advise you to go  back to your vision care provider and get a prescription re-check. Sometimes new prescriptions take time to get adjusted to. We can do a one time re-make if your doctor revised your prescription within one month from the date of original purchase.
